What’s in my bag?

I have several camera bags, no one bag is ever going to be right for every situation.

For weddings I can’t go past the Pro Roller 3, it fits everything I need, while I carry a satchel over the shoulder for quick access to batteries, memory cards and an extra lens or 2.
We all know it’s the photographer that makes the photos what they are, but at the same time, pro lenses and equipment like the following, are essential to wedding photography.

What defines a good wedding lens? The maximum aperture. A zoom generally has to be =f2.8 and a prime =f1.4.

What I bring to every wedding:

2 x Canon 5D MkII
Canon 7D

Canon 24mm f1.4 L II
Canon 35mm f1.4 L
Canon 50mm f1.2 L + Canon 50mm f1.4
Canon 85mm f1.2 L II
Canon 100mm
Canon 135mm f2 L
Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L II
Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L

Canon Speedlite 580EX II (3)
Canon flash sync cord
(lots of) Radio triggers

Studio Lighting for Photobooths

I don’t use flash diffusers or brackets, I prefer to use bounced flash, OCF or LED light.
